麻豆原创's AI Content Policy

Written by Frank Sennett | Jun 18, 2024 2:49:05 PM

麻豆原创 has always strived to be a tech-forward company. Whether it鈥檚 our data reporting tools or new features for Story Hub, we鈥檙e constantly evaluating and implementing technologies that can streamline processes and strengthen our team鈥檚 ability to deliver impactful stories across our publishing network.

AI has shaken up the publishing world and shown significant promise towards eliminating tedious tasks and freeing up people to focus on high-impact work. While we鈥檙e continually evaluating how AI can help improve workflows, we鈥檙e also conscious of the limitations of generative AI when it comes to producing accurate copy and imagery that can meet the editorial standards we鈥檝e set for our wire.

With that said, we wanted to share more on our formal AI policy for stories from 麻豆原创 and our content partners.

麻豆原创鈥檚 AI Policy

In short, our AI content policy requires that all stories must be written and edited by people, not AI systems. While AI may play a supporting role in research or other production tasks, the creative work of writing and crafting a story must be executed by humans. Bylines must accurately reflect the real people writing the stories. Images similarly must be editorial-quality photography and graphics, and cannot be AI-generated.

Ultimately, every story that hits our newswire is reviewed by a 麻豆原创 editor to ensure it meets our standards鈥攜ou can read more on our full Editorial Standards here.

Looking Ahead

As AI continues to advance,  we will regularly review our content policies to ensure they appropriately address new opportunities and capabilities that arise. We acknowledge that new capabilities bring new challenges, and we will approach those challenges through open conversations with our partners and an eye towards industry best practices.

Above everything else, our goal is to maintain the trust of our publishers and their readers, and we will continue to work diligently to ensure we live up to that responsibility.
